About Me and This Blog:

I have a great passion for nursing and nursing education. I have been a nurse educator since 2008, and after many advising sessions, I realized that there is a lot about nursing and nursing school that the general public does not know about or understand. I thought I would develop a blog where potential nursing students could go for some general information to help better inform them prior to making the decision to go to nursing school. I also thought my blog could include some funny stories of my own, since I have had some pretty funny things happen over the years. I started this blog in January 2011. I started out with a bang, putting out 7 posts in the first month alone. Later that year, family illness brought my writing to a screeching halt. That was a tough time in our lives, so I put the blog on hold. Since that time, various life matters prevented me from writing until now. I am happy to be back!

I hope you find the information in this blog useful, or at least entertaining. I do not make any claims that the information provided is perfect, but I try to be very honest about everything.
